A day of meetings across Bangalore is not a sequence of separate rides. Local hire keeps the same cab and the same driver with you for the half day or the full day, so you are not rebooking between every stop.

Each package carries an hour allowance and a kilometre allowance. Go past either and the extra is charged at the per-kilometre rate shown against your vehicle — a rate you can see before you start, not one worked out at the end.

Why hourly hire beats booking ride by ride

A day of meetings across Bangalore is not three separate journeys. It is one journey with pauses, and treating it as three bookings means waiting for a new cab at every stop, in a city where that wait is rarely short.

Local hire keeps one vehicle and one driver with you for the half day or the full day. The car waits while you are inside, your things stay in it, and you move when you are ready rather than when a driver accepts. For anyone doing site visits, hospital appointments or a day of client calls, that is the whole point.

Two packages cover almost everything: four hours with forty kilometres, or eight hours with eighty. Both run from the moment the cab reaches your pickup point, not from when it leaves our garage, so you are not paying for our drive to you.

What happens when the day runs over

Days run over. The package handles it rather than penalising it: extra kilometres beyond your allowance are charged at the per-kilometre rate shown against your vehicle in the table below, and extra hours at an hourly rate we tell you at booking.

If a four hour package is clearly going to become a full day, say so and we move you onto the eight hour package instead of billing four hours of overage. That is almost always cheaper for you, and we would rather you came back than squeezed an extra few hundred rupees out of one booking.

Local Hire — what people ask

When does the package start?

From the time the cab reaches your pickup point, not from when it leaves our garage. The clock and the kilometres run together from that moment.

What if I need more than 8 hours?

Extra hours are charged at an hourly rate and extra kilometres at the per-km rate for your vehicle. Tell the driver as the day goes and we will keep the running total clear.

Is the driver allowance included in the package price?

No, it is separate, as are night charges after 10pm and any toll or parking. The package price covers the vehicle, the driver's time and the stated allowance only.

Can I change from a 4 hour to an 8 hour package mid-day?

Yes. If the day runs longer than planned we move you onto the 8 hour package rather than billing four hours of overage, which usually works out cheaper for you.

Does the package cover travel outside the city?

No. Local hire is for travel inside Bangalore. Once you cross the city limits it becomes an outstation trip and is charged on the outstation tariff.

Which package should I take, 4 hours or 8 hours?

If you have two or three stops in one half of the day, take the four hour package. If the day starts in the morning and finishes in the afternoon, the eight hour package is better value than four hours plus overage almost every time.

Is waiting time charged separately?

No. Waiting at your stops is inside the package hours. The clock simply runs, which is the point of hourly hire rather than per-trip booking.

Can I use a local package to go outside the city?

No. Once you cross the Bangalore city limits it becomes outstation hire and is charged on the outstation tariff with its 300km daily minimum. We will tell you if your plan crosses that line before you book.

Do you provide local cabs for corporate use?

Yes, both one-off and standing arrangements. If you are moving visitors or staff regularly, call and we will set up monthly billing instead of paying per trip.

What if I finish early?

The package price stands, since the vehicle and driver were committed for that window. If you finish very early and want the cab released, tell the driver and we will not hold you for the remaining hours on a future booking.
