Which is cheaper, one way or round trip?
It depends on whether you are coming back. For a single journey a one-way drop is cheaper because you are not paying for the return leg. For a same-day return the round-trip rate is lower per kilometre and usually wins.
Why is the one-way rate per kilometre higher?
Because the vehicle has to come back empty. The round-trip rate is lower per kilometre precisely because the return leg is carrying you rather than running dead.
Does the 300 km daily minimum apply to one way?
Yes, the daily minimum applies to both. On a one-way drop shorter than 300km you are billed the minimum.
Can I book a return for a different day?
Yes. That is a multi-day round trip: the cab stays with you, and the daily minimum and driver allowance apply for each day of the hire.
Do you cover routes outside Karnataka?
Yes. Our vehicles carry all-India permits, so Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Kerala are all ordinary bookings. The state permit charge is passed on at actuals.
Is a one way drop taxi really cheaper?
For a single journey, yes, almost always, because you are not paying for the return leg. For a same-day return it is usually the more expensive of the two, since you would be booking two separate one way trips instead of one round trip at the lower rate.
Do you charge for the driver returning empty?
It is already inside the one way per-kilometre rate, which is why that rate is higher than the round trip rate. There is no separate return charge added afterwards.
Can I book a one way drop at short notice?
Usually yes, and short-notice drops are a large part of this work. Call rather than message if it is for the same day, as that gets you a definite answer fastest.
What if my plans change and I need to come back after all?
Tell us before the trip and we convert it to a round trip, which may well cost you less than booking a second one way. Once the cab has returned to Bangalore it has to be a fresh booking.
Are there routes you do not cover?
We run across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Goa. If your destination is not among our listed routes, ask anyway, because the listed ones are simply the most frequent rather than the limit.
