Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 10 August 2026

These terms apply to every booking made with Route to Nature Travels, whether it is placed through this website, over the phone or on WhatsApp. By booking a cab with us you accept the terms set out below, so please read them before you confirm a trip.

1. Bookings and confirmation

Submitting the booking form on this website is a request for a cab, not a confirmed reservation. Your details reach us on WhatsApp and by email, and the booking is confirmed only once our team confirms it back to you on the phone number you provided. Please give a reachable mobile number - we cannot confirm a trip we cannot contact you about.

Every booking is given a reference number beginning with BCR. Quote it whenever you contact us about a trip.

2. Fares

Fares are calculated as total distance x per-km rate + driver allowance (bata). The per-km rate depends on the vehicle you select, and the driver allowance on the type of trip - airport transfers carry none. Both are shown in the fare breakdown against each vehicle before you book.

The fare shown on the website excludes:

• Toll charges
• State permit and inter-state entry tax
• Parking charges
• Hill station charges, where applicable
• Waiting charges beyond the free waiting period

These are payable at actuals in addition to the fare. Fares quoted on this website do not include GST.

3. Minimum billing and distance

Each vehicle carries a minimum billable distance for a one-way trip. If the actual distance travelled is less than that minimum, the minimum applies. Distance is measured from the pickup point to the drop point on the route taken by the driver, and the final fare is calculated on the actual running of the trip. Any distance quoted before travel is an estimate.

Round trips are billed on a minimum number of kilometres for each day of the trip, counting the day of departure and the day of return, and the driver allowance is payable for each of those days. Where the distance actually travelled exceeds that minimum, the higher figure applies.

4. Vehicle allotment

Vehicles are listed as "or equivalent". We will provide the vehicle model you selected or another vehicle of the same class and seating capacity. Specific colours or registration numbers cannot be guaranteed.

5. Payment

Payment is collected by our operator or driver in cash or by UPI at the end of the trip, unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing. We do not collect card details on this website and no online payment is taken at the time of booking. Toll, parking and permit charges are settled during the trip.

6. Cancellation and no-show

You may cancel a booking by calling or messaging us on the number listed on this website. We ask for as much notice as possible so the vehicle can be released to another customer. If the driver reaches the pickup point at the agreed time and the passenger is not available and cannot be reached, the trip is treated as a no-show and a cancellation charge covering the driver's running may apply. We will always tell you the amount before charging it.

7. Waiting time

A short free waiting period is allowed at the pickup point. Waiting beyond that period, or additional halts requested during the trip, are charged at the rate applicable to the vehicle. Airport pickups allow additional waiting time for flight arrivals when you share your flight number with us.

8. Passenger responsibilities

• Carry a valid photo ID for outstation and inter-state trips.
• Do not exceed the seating capacity of the vehicle; children count as passengers.
• Smoking, alcohol and any illegal or hazardous goods are not permitted in the vehicle.
• Luggage must fit the vehicle's boot capacity as listed against each vehicle.
• Any damage to the vehicle caused by a passenger is recoverable at actuals.

9. Delays and interruptions

Journey times are estimates. Traffic, weather, road closures, protests and mechanical breakdown can delay a trip, and we are not liable for missed flights, trains or appointments arising from such delays. If a vehicle breaks down mid-trip we will arrange a replacement as quickly as we can.

10. Limitation of liability

Our liability in respect of any booking is limited to the fare paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Lost belongings

Please check the vehicle before you leave. Tell us as soon as you can if you leave something behind and we will contact the driver, but we cannot accept responsibility for items left in a vehicle.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking is the one that applies to it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
